Dr. Bernie Siegel: The Gift of Wellness
1:30 PM
The Gift of Wellness: Reflections on the Art of Healing and Living
Internationally known speaker, author and spiritual teacher Dr. Bernie Siegel (affectionately known at “Bernie”) is a pioneer in the field of holistic healing. Bernie is no stranger to the Marble family; in fact, he was a student of Norman Vincent Peale and has worked with Pastor Emeritus Dr. Arthur Caliandro.
In this presentation, Bernie will focus on the art of healing our lives. Drawing from his fifty plus years of experience caring for people facing difficult physical and emotional situations, he will shed light on how spirituality, love, humor, and intention all work together in promoting our overall health and well-being. Participants will be encouraged to examine their memories, thoughts and feelings - such as guilt and blame - as they relate to our health, and will be inspired to consider lifestyle changes that promote survival behavior. By culling from the eternal truths and wisdom of teachers through the ages, Bernie will empower us to move past the pain of our own particular dis-ease and embrace a philosophy of healing that transcends mind, body and spirit and encompasses the divine consciousness and energy that is God.
His books include Love, Medicine and Miracles; Prescriptions for Living; and Faith, Hope and Healing. (Live webcast at 1:30pm, ET)
(This is the long-awaited program preempted due to the surprise October 2011 snowstorm.) Not to be missed!
