Mission
The purpose of the South Africa Partnership is to provide mutual mission opportunities for mutuality with Marble Collegiate Church's three partner churches in Soweto, South Africa, that continue to suffer from the damage of apartheid.

The Partnership's focus is building a relationship that will strengthen the mission of Marble and its partner churches, who all trace their origin back to the Dutch Reformed Church. Among the many hopes we have for this partnership are:

• The desire to grow with each other in spirit, in gifts, and in stewardship;
• To listen and respond to each other's joys, fears, needs, hopes, worries, and dreams;
• To celebrate our gifts, our similarities, our differences and our opportunities;
• To work together on projects that minister to communities our congregations serve.

What We Do
Through the Marble Easter Offering and other gifts, the Partnership explores ways to develop the spiritual and physical growth of the member churches through programs that include:

• Completion of the Senaone Church.
• Repairs to the Botshabelo Church.
• Building of a new day care center at the Diepkloopf Sud Church.
• Creation of sewing machine centers at each church.
• Distribution of school uniform vouchers to 120 church students.
• Sponsorship of a child art contest.
• Development of computer training centers.
• Creation of Tent-Event income-generating programs at each church.
• Sponsorship of AIDS-awareness events.

Who We Are
The Partnership includes Committee members and Friends who seek to support its Programs, seek new resources, pray for its ministers and members, learn from each other, and participate in member visits.
