Through the ministry of Dr. Arthur Caliandro, Marble Church has a rich history of participating in interfaith activities. A tradition each fall is the coming together of three great faiths in a celebration of giving thanks. Highlighting the service is a conversation among Jewish, Muslim, and Christian spiritual leaders.
This year, Dr. Caliandro welcomes to the chancel Rabbi Peter J. Rubinstein (Senior Rabbi of Central Synagogue) and Imam Muhammad Shamsi Ali (Deputy Imam of the Islamic Cultural Center of New York and Director of Jamaica Muslim Center in Queens). Ask a friend to join you for this unique and memorable worship experience.
Want to connect with interfaith communities? Interfaith Trialogues continues this year with visits to Central Synagogue and Masjid Al Hikmah (Queens). For information, or if you wish to participate in this congregational exchange, please contact Mary Burns, 212-686-2770. |
Sunday, November 23 11:15am
Service will also be broadcast on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27 at 12noon on WLNY TV 55.
