Children, Youth, and Families (CYF) Ministry

Download Church School NewsletterChildren, Youth, and Families

Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37-39.

The Children, Youth and Families Ministry inspires children and youth to develop a loving relationship with God, Jesus Christ and their neighbors through creative and age-appropriate activities that include learning about the Bible, studying our shared Christian history, service to others and fellowship.

Children and youth experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit through worship, prayer, contemplation, music, visual arts and drama. We welcome all families with children 18 and under to our ministry!

Parents' Group

EXPLORING THE SPIRITUAL LIFE OF CHILDREN
Sundays at 10am

Parents’ Group focuses on equipping parents and guardians with the spiritual tools to raise their children rooted in Christian values in a secular world.

We will discuss questions such as “How do we understand our children as spiritual beings?” “Do children go through different stages of spiritual development?” “How can we best support our children in their spiritual growth?”

All parents/guardians are welcome; no pre-registration is necessary.

Music
Children SingingThe Church School Choir program is designed to develop, from a very early age, the music skills and sense of spirituality that are an integral part of Christian choral singing. Song, rhythm, and musical instruments are key elements of the Toddler music class. Youngsters are then guided through four individual choirs according to their age. Each choral experience offers children the opportunity to further their musical abilities and deepen their faith through song.
