Marble Connection
Young Adults in Their 20s & 30s
Connection is a faith-guided family of young adults, led by the spirit of Jesus, to reach the highest levels of love, compassion, and service through engagement with the world and one another. All are welcome on this journey.
  
What We Do

Sunday Conversation
Connection MenWe introduce topics that help us get to know each other on a deeper level than, “What do you do for a living?” We share, laugh, talk, and discuss over a light brunch. Sunday is our touchstone. Meets weekly from 1 to 2pm on the 4th floor.

Spiritual Growth
Once a month we gather to investigate topics more deeply than we can in one hour on Sundays. This year’s topics include “evil,” “the will of God,” “gratitude,” “faith and pop culture,” and “the religions of our city.”

Retreats & Mission Trips
Twice a year, we get away from our daily lives and renew our spirits. Each fall we make a weekend spiritual retreat to explore topics and issues relevant to our lives. Spring mission trips allow us to take an active role in giving back to our communities locally or other places in need..

First Fridays
Once a month, we take things a little less seriously. Join us for a fun activity or a night on the town where you can meet new friends and build lasting relationships.

Service Events
It’s easier to get out and make a difference in the world with some company.  At least once a month, we choose a service project and follow it with some social time.  We’re giving special attention to homelessness this year, but we are committed to caring for people in many different walks of life.

SUNDAY CONVERSATIONS
Sundays at 1pm

Sunday after-worship conversations conclude at the end of June.

During July and August, we'll gather informally after worship for brunch. Our goal for the summertime is simply to take time to get to know one another personally.

I’m gay, am I welcome?
Yes. Gay, straight, questioning, in transition - all sexual identities are welcome.  We share the journey together.

I’m over 40, may I come?
Yes. While Connection is designed for people in their 20s and 30s, we want you to come if you feel comfortable here. Only a person’s behavior will preclude him or her from participating. 

Is Connection a “singles” group?
No. Many of us are single and looking for the right person, but our time at Marble and with Connection is a spiritual journey - we ask that people get oriented spiritually before actively dating within the group. Many of us are already in a relationship (married and non), and attend Connection events with our partners.

We are conservatives, liberals and everything in between. We listen to each other in love, and seek to understand each other.
