The Marble 60+ Fellowship is a vibrant community of active adults from all over NYC who gather weekly for social, cultural, and spiritual events. Our members are as diverse as the city we live in, and all are warmly welcomed, regardless of religious background or affiliation.
From September to June, we gather on Wednesdays for a day of fellowship, lunch and a variety of activities. Morning offerings include Exercise Hour, seasonal Bible Study and Art Classes. Lunch is at noon (1st and 3rd Wednesdays, Catered meals; 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, Bring Your Own Lunch with potluck desserts), followed at 1:00pm by a program with a musical, spiritual or wellness-related theme. Our performers and lecturers are some of the finest New York City has to offer. At 2:15pm, we host activities including a book club, bridge club and spiritual conversation circles.
We look forward to welcoming you to our next Wednesday gathering! Come and meet new friends and enjoy your time with us.
Weekly on Wednesdays in the Marble Loft
Exercise Class: 10:45-11:45am
Bridge Club 2:15-4:00pm
Book Club meets the third Wednesday of each month from 2:15-3:00pm
Stamps for the Wounded
The fellowship collects cancelled US and foreign stamps which are used as ‘hobby therapy’ for wounded Veterans. Decorative and high-valued stamps are most in demand. One quarter of an inch or more border of paper needed around all sides of the stamp. Drop off stamps on Weds in the collection box. 60+ member Joanne Ebersbach, with the assistance of Orael D’Addario, forwards the stamps to the Lyons Club International which sponsors this service program.
Transportation Option: Project CART
