Gregory Lozier

Deacon & Chair (Board member since 2013, Marble Member since 1995)

Greg has attended Marble since 1995 and is a former member of the Marble Sanctuary Choir. He is twice retired, first from Penn State where he was the university’s executive director of planning and analysis and a faculty member in the graduate studies program in higher education administration. Most recently he retired from IBM where he was a strategy and organizational change consultant for colleges and universities and provided educational training in core consulting skills for IBM consultants. Greg is married to Meg Armstrong and has three children, Andrew, Jeannine, and Ted.

Rick Harper

Elder & Vice Chair (Board member since 2011, Marble Member since 2000)

Richard “Rick” Harper is a producer and graphic specialist serving leading entertainment industries, hotels, restaurants, clubs, theatrical, retail, fitness and fashion industries, both internationally and throughout the domestic U.S. Since 1980, he has been involved in multi-media including his production experience with 1010 Wins News Radio, Lorne Michael’s Broadway Video, film production companies and more. In addition, he is a graphic layout and concept artist–retoucher working on projects for web, print and large screen. Adding to that is his experience in hotel management and catering industries.

Rick is currently secretary of the Marble Church Board, as well as a trained Stephen Minister, MarbleVision camera person, and Collegiate Consistory Outreach Committee member. Other involvements have included service on the Think Tank Steering Committee, Ministries Council, Fundraising Committee, Seminary Advisory Committee, and President of Marble Collegiate Outreach (MCO).

Rick attended the University of Denver, NY Institute of Technology and Nassau Community College.

Sandra Diaz

Deacon & Secretary (Board member since 2013, Marble Member since 2002)

Sandra Diaz is a graphic designer at a major insurance company. She also serves as the coordinator of the company’s blood program managing approximately 28 offices country wide, as well as running six drives a year in her office. Sandra has worked in the design field since 2000 responsible for the design of marketing materials. She holds a BA in Business from Marymount College (now part of Fordham University). She is involved with the Women’s Ministry, Children’s Youth Family Ministry and is a certified Stephen Minister.

Eileen O’Connell

Elder & Church Master (Board member since 2009, Marble Member since 2002)

Eileen participates fully in the life of Marble Church through many activities. She is a Stephen Minister, an avid student of Sister Carol Perry and a participant in Small Group Ministry. She previously served on the Investment and Endowment committee of the Collegiate Church and currently serves on the Marble Investment committee. Eileen holds a B.S. in Finance from St. John’s University.

Stephanie Bailey

Elder (Board member since 1998, Marble Member since 1995)

Stephanie M. Bailey joined the Church in 1995 and became chair of the board in 2009. Prior to becoming a deacon in 1998, Elder Bailey was on the leadership team of the women’s group and an inaugural member of the Spirituality in the Workplace small group. In her professional life, Stephanie has been an information technology consultant and executive with PricewaterhouseCoopers, American Express and Fannie Mae, and is now with Consolidated Edison. Stephanie also serves on the Executive Committee of the Collegiate Corporation and is a trustee with the Blanton- Peale Institute. She is married to Lawrence Bailey.

Peter Barnett

Elder (Board member since 2011, Marble Member since 1996)

Began at The Salisbury School (Episcopal boarding school mandatory chapel service 7 days a week) class ‘62, served USAF 1966-1972, married Jeanne 1969 and now 4 married children and 10 grandchildren, completed undergraduate economics AFIT 1970, Columbia University for Physical Therapist 1973, joined Marble 1996, Dr of Physical Therapy from Simmons College 2007, love to sing traditional hymns, and love Dr Brown. Frequent FaceBook because of my family, and strongly support Marble’s web presence. My hobbies include birding and gardening.

Trenesa Danuser

Deacon (Board member since 2013, Marble Member since 2005)

Trenesa Stanford-Danuser is the Vice President, Global Communications and Strategic Alliances for Origins Natural Resources, Ojon™ and DARPHIN Paris, divisions of The Estée Lauder Companies. Since early 2004, her strategic communications acumen and creativity have led the brand’s global media interactions, launching Origin’s largest skin care breakthrough Plantscription™, the groundbreaking integrative skin-care philosophy of Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins™ and the brand's first-ever millennial skin care franchise Original Skin™.

Stanford-Danuser honed her expertise in corporate marketing communications working in fast-paced, multi-client advertising and public relations agencies in New York and Boston. While a trends and account management executive, she served several blue chip clients. She also worked for several years as a Director of Communications and National Public Affairs “Rapid Response” Specialist for the American Red Cross.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Stanford-Danuser has a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. She feels privileged and blessed to serve on Collegiate Consistory Board of Directors, as well as the eWomenNetwork Foundation Advisory Board . She is a sought-after public speaker on professional women’s and mentoring forums, and has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Essence, Redbook, Family Circle, Shape, Self, More, Mater Mea, PRWeek and Cosmetic World. She lives in the greater New York City area with her husband Chris and their two children Dylan and Romon who are active participants in Marble's Children, Youth & Families Ministry.

T. Hunter Dare

Elder (Board member since 2011, Marble Member since 2009)

Hunter started visiting Marble in 1999 and began attending regularly after moving to the neighborhood in 2007. He became a member at the beginning of 2009, sang in the gospel choir and served as an usher on the South Aisle before becoming a Deacon in late 2011. Hunter currently serves on both Marble’s Investment and the Finance committees and served on the Church Growth Think Tank. He also serves on the Investment and Endowment committee of the Collegiate Churches of New York and has served on its Outreach committee where he had his most gratifying church experience which was being part of a small team that lead the Collegiate Church to make a gift that funded the construction of a specialized children’s hospital that, every year, saves the lives of hundreds of children in Somalia with Severe Acute Malnutrition.

Hunter has worked as a both a banker and trader in fixed income for Goldman Sachs and Citibank. He has also served as CFO of an education focused internet company, and managed a private fixed income investment fund. His wife Susie, an attorney, is also a Marble member.

Theodore Gregory

Deacon (Board member since 2013, Marble Member since 2009)

Ted Gregory has been a successful practitioner in a retained executive search environment for many years. He possess long-standing industry contacts, cross industry knowledge, human resources experience, diversity experiences, skills in marketing, sales, business and management. Over the years his searches have included CEO’s, COO’s, CFO’s, Athletic Directors, Coaches, Human Resources, Chief Legal Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Diversity Officers, and Development Officers. Ted has been engaged by Corporations, Associations, and Universities. He is equally effective in micro-cap companies as in larger ones.

Ted was scholar-athlete at Columbia University and earned a BA in Economics. In addition, he was Co-Captain of the varsity football team, garnered All-League honors, honorable mention All-America, 25-year All Ivy League Team, the Columbia All-Century Team and the Columbia Athletics Hall of Fame.

At Marble, Ted is one of the Founders of the Stephen Ministry and member of the Gospel Choir. You can generally find him standing at the Stephen Ministry table in the Loft after any given Sunday service, answering questions about Stephen Ministry.

Sheila Moses

Elder (Board member since 1982, Marble Member since 2009)

Sheila is a retiree of J P Morgan Chase where she served as a Vice President and Client Technology Liaison Manager of Global Securities Services. She previously worked for Fidelity Investments Boston as a consultant in Global Investment Services. Sheila spent most of her career at Bankers Trust Company where she held many positions the final being Vice President of Global Custody Service responsible for managing their Global Banking Network.

Sheila has a BA from Bernard Baruch College.

Nick Gilman

Deacon (Marble Member since 2015)

Nick has been a Marble member since his baptism in 2015. He serves on the Action Volunteer Committee and is passionate about putting God’s love into action. Professionally, Nick is a Vice President of Operations at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, as well as a Certified Personal Trainer. He holds a BA, with a concentration in Finance and Economics from Marist College, and was a member of the varsity football team. He has a daughter, Sophia.

John Rorer II

Elder (Board member since 1994, Marble Member since 1983)

John Rorer is retired. Prior to retirement, John served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the American Museum of Natural History for seven years. His earlier work experience was at the New York Botanical Garden where he served as Chief Operating Officer, and at Polytechnic University where his final position was Vice President for Finance and Administration. While at Polytechnic, John was part of the team that planned and developed MetroTech, a one billion dollar redevelopment of 16 acres in downtown Brooklyn. John began his career in New York City government where he served for five years.

John received a BA degree from Harvard College and a Master of Public Administration degree from New York University.

Gregory Walker

Elder (Board member since 1991, Marble Member since 1984)

Greg Walker is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor for J.P. Morgan Securities. He received a BS from Presbyterian College and Masters from American Technology University. Greg has worked on Wall Street for over 30 years. He lives in NJ with his wife Linda, his son Josh and their dog Lexi. He is an avid golfer, sports and jazz enthusiast.
