The Marble Arts Ministry hosts this staged reading of the play, Tamar (The Two-Gated City), by Award-winning playwright Emma Goldman-Sherman with songs directed by Keisha Kogan. Goldman-Sherman creates timeless yet relevant, feminist work that provokes/engages on multiple levels to acknowledge/heal what our culture denies and/or refuses to address. Tamar is about two rape culture Bible stories, re-imagined from a female perspective with a discussion to follow. Please join us for this dramatic, healing journey.

Moderated discussion and Q&A to follow the performance led by Rev. Barbara Crafton. We hope you will join us for this dramatic, healing journey.

Costs: Tickets are $15. A light dinner will be available for and additional $5.

For tickets, you can register online here or during Coffee Hour at the Arts Ministry table.
