GIFTS: LGBTQ Fellowship Annual Retreat

Stony Point Center, Stony Point, NY
Saturday, March 4, 2017 – Sunday, March 5, 2017
8:00 am – 5:00 am

“Salt and Light: Taste and See That God Is Good” is based on Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 5:13-16. In the darkness of the last days of winter, Lent begins. In Lent, we look inside ourselves deeply. At the same time, we turn our gaze outward, to the world. And somehow in our searching, we rediscover that we are the salt of the earth. We find again that we are the light of the world. We learn anew that God is calling us to taste and see—and hear, smell, and touch—the goodness of creation.

Join us for a weekend of workshops, meals, worship, fellowship, and fun. We will explore our lives as LGBTQ people of faith and we will taste and see that God is good!
