Women’s Ministry: Annual Retreat **SOLD OUT**

Join Rev. Kirsty DePree, Sr. Carol Perry, Nina Frost and Leslie Rawlings Slezak for a weekend of prayer and worship, a keynote talk, workshops, movement classes and free time to enjoy the company of other women “living their faith out loud.” A chartered bus takes you from Marble Church to the tranquil America’s Keswick Retreat Center in Whiting, NJ. We’re happy to offer a lower retreat cost this year.

Fee includes lodging and transportation, Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast (4 meals), facility use charges, supplies and gratuities.

Rev. Kirsty DePree (Pastoral Advisor) is passionate about walking with others on their journey. She is Minister of Congregational Care at Marble and also serves as the Pastoral advisor to Stephen Ministry and the Women’s Ministry. Before arriving at Marble Collegiate Church, she served as the Coordinator of Discipleship for the Reformed Church in America (RCA) and also served as a minister in three different RCA congregations in Michigan. Rev. DePree received her M.Div. from Western Theological Seminary and a B.A. from Hope College.

Sister Carol Perry is Resident Bible Scholar at Marble Collegiate Church. She leads Bible studies in Marble’s Spiritual Growth Ministry and as part of the church’s Spirituality in the Workplace outreach. She is known for her ability to make characters and stories of the Bible come alive. She received her Master’s degree from St. Mary’s at Notre Dame and studied at Regina Mundi, Rome and Fordham University. Sr. Carol is a Sister of Saint Ursula. She is the author of Waiting For Our Souls to Catch Up and Among Women.

Nina H. Frost is a vocational counselor and spiritual director in private practice in NYC and Virginia. A frequent speaker at churches, she also designs retreats and workshops that help people integrate Christian spirituality with the challenges posed by career and personal transitions. She is the co-author of the book, Soul Mapping: An Imaginative Way to Self-Discovery, holds an M.A. in Spiritual Direction from The General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church, and was on staff at Marble from 2003-2012.

Leslie Rawlings Slezak is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a member of Marble since 1991, Leslie is thrilled to incorporate her professional work life into a spiritual setting. After serving in the Peace Corps in West Africa and teaching in China in the 80’s Leslie gained a dual masters in Theological Studies and Social Work. She incorporates spirituality through trauma modalities such a codependency, re-parentng as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitize Reprocessing). She has been in private practice for over 25 years, now practicing near her home in NJ. She lives with her husband, son and three dogs.
