Great Expectations Art Gallery
Pentecost is the time when the Holy Spirit bursts into our lives and enables us to see and do things in a new Christ-like way. Presented online and live, “Great Expectations,” speaks of bright boldness in the ordinary simple pleasures of life and invites us to see our world from the perspective of wonder and awe. The video created by Karla Hendrick features the visual art of Diane Aramony, Prudence DiBenedetto, Karla Hendrick, Douglas M. Powers, Abigail Shue, Joan Silinsh, and Margery Westin. The exhibit outside the Labyrinth Room on the Wall of Hope, Inspiration, and Healing includes additional artwork from Diane Aramony, Abigail Shue, and other selections from the video. The presentation will run from June 5 – 30.
