If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Romans 8:31

Paul, betrayed by his own people, rejected by many, imprisoned and beaten and shipwrecked, could still confidently proclaim his faith. We shrink before such courage and realize our own faith often needs a boost. Paul is absolutely right in his hope. Popular opinion means nothing without God’s being of the same mind.

Let us ask for the courage to be as faith-filled as was Paul.
