Annual Advent Concert: Journey to Bethlehem

Encounter the mystery of this sacred season with The Marble Choir, Festival of Voices and Chamber Orchestra directed by Kenneth Dake. Inspirational readings and dance add to this journey toward the true meaning of Advent and Christmas. It features contemporary American composers: Eric Whitacre, Samuel Barber, Lee Hoiby, Stephen Paulus, Nancy Wertsch, and Amy Grant. Also, classic masterworks by Tomás Luis de Victoria, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Felix Mendelssohn, and Georg Frideric Handel. Along with featured soloists: Jonathan Blalock and Michael Graye, tenors and dance performances by: Jere Hunt, Christopher Bell, Margaret Jones.Narration by Victor Slezak and Kim Sebastian-Ryan. Tickets: $60 reserved seat (advance purchase only). $35 general admission; $25 student/seniors. $5 discount for advance purchase (does not apply to reserved seats).
