Join us for a Bon Voyage reception for our Gospel Choir Director, Djoré Nance, as he prepares to leave Marble to continue his solo career. Stay and say farewell, hear remarks from Dr. Michael B. Brown, Marble Music Director Kenneth Dake and the Gospel Choir. We will have a table where you, the congregation, can write notes to Djoré and wish him well. Cupcakes served.

The Marble Board recently updated the congregation on progress and next steps in the renovation of Marble’s facilities. In anticipation of a major development project, construction of a newly renovated Concourse Level beneath the Sanctuary is nearing completion and renovation of the Middle Building (Peale Parlor and the 2 floors above it) will soon begin. This has implications for our congregation, its program and ministries. After many years of wonderful ministry and hospitality, Marble’s in-house food service will end on June 30, 2012. Food for Sunday brunch, 60 Fellowship and programs throughout the week will be provided by catering services in order to ensure that we all have the table fellowship opportunities treasured by the congregation and its friends.
