Prayer Requests

Marble's Ministers and Prayer Team would be glad to pray for you, our friends, and members, both near and far. Please let us know your needs, concerns, or thanksgivings.

In order to make sure that all who reach out to us can find someone to speak to in their time of need, Marble's Pastoral Care Ministry is staffed by a rotation of ministers to ensure constant coverage.

The Marble Prayer Ministry
To ask for prayer, or share feedback, use a blue Prayer Request card found in the pews or stop by the Prayer Room (off the 29th St lobby) after Sunday Worship. Members of the Prayer Team spend a minimum of two weeks in prayer over each request.

To learn more about being part of our Prayer Team, please contact Judy Tulin. In addition to praying for the needs of the Marble Community, we sponsor an annual Prayer Day Retreat and the annual Good Friday Prayer Vigil.

The Prayer Circle
Every Sunday at 10:00am, Marble Ministers lead participants in prayer. If you have questions or to have your prayer request included, please contact Judy Tulin, (212) 686-2770, by Friday noon. Names are prayed over for one month.

The Prayer Circle is always open! All are welcome to join us each Sunday for this time of prayer, Scripture reading, hymn singing, and Holy Communion.

Prayer Shawl Ministry Gatherings
Join us for a time of creativity, fellowship, and prayer. The members of the ministry gather to knit and crochet healing prayer shawls. They also pray for members of the Marble community and each other. All completed shawls are blessed and delivered to those in our congregation in need of healing prayer. The ministry generally meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, except holidays. First Mondays online via Zoom, 5:00-6:00pm; third Mondays in person and online via Zoom, 1:00-2:00pm.
