Senior Minister Search

Marble Senior Minister Dr. Michael Bos has announced his desire to retire by June of 2027 after eight years of faithful service. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Bos’ tireless efforts and spiritual dedication to Marble’s success.

Now, Marble’s leadership has the exciting and challenging task of finding our eighth Senior Minister. Marble’s Board has established a Search Committee and has developed a thoughtful, inclusive, and thorough search process to identify Marble’s next Senior Minister. As part of this, Marble has engaged an experienced, highly qualified search firm, Freeman Philanthropic Services, LLC, to assist our search efforts.

OUR SEARCH PROCESS

Phase One: ← We Are Here
Defining the Position: Confidential discussions with staff, reaching out to congregants, developing the job description to reflect Marble’s culture and vision.

Phase Two:
Candidate Identification and Development: Public outreach to find sources and prospects in order to identify, develop, and screen prospective candidates.

Phase Three:
Presentation of Candidates, Interviews, and Final Selection: Search Committee reviews a pool of highly qualified and thoroughly vetted candidates and the Marble Board selects a Senior Minister. With great hope and joy, Marble extends a call.
