The Joy of Getting Lost
How routinized are your patterns? Do you find yourself taking the same roads, the same paths, the same everything to get to your various destinations throughout the day?
Sometimes familiar roads aren't the best ones for us to take. In fact, sometimes getting lost along the way can be the greatest gift of the journey.
The unexplored road can lead to all sorts of new learnings, new friendships, new vistas and byways of beauty for you to behold.
A fork in the road can be a gift - why not take the unexplored path?
In fact, welcome getting lost. Rather than panic, look around and see where the sun is - that will tell you which direction is east or west. Peer ahead onto the horizon - do you see anything new or interesting there? Go check it out.
Life is meant to be a grand adventure, not a treadmill of routinized behavior and familiar paths.
Choose a different path next time - even one in which you feel lost. Maybe God has something wonderful for you to behold.
