The Christmas story emphasizes God's choice of humble beginnings for Jesus' birth, bypassing earthly wealth. Mary, an unwed teenager, and Joseph, an older man, embody this simplicity. Shepherds receive the joyous announcement, and Jesus, born in a trough, symbolizes peace and hope. This Christmas invites us to find joy in the ordinary.
